What Is wanchain?
Wanchain is a blockchain network that implements cross-chain transfers of assets.
The idea is to provide a framework for financial applications, and allowing these applications to connect between different blockchains.
The functions Wanchain aims to provide through this framework is across the range of financial services - debit and credit of digital currency, settlements, exchange conversion, investment and financing and so on.
Wanchain envisions a platform where anyone can set up a window and become a bank, to provide financial services.
The end result will be a "super financial market" of digital assets. Think of it as the central hub of today's banking system, but based on a future of decentralisation and digital currencies.
The overarching goal is financial inclusion of the unbanked, by providing financial services, based on digital assets, in a safe and open way.
